Maps were prepared as part of the Swiss Red Cross-funded Disaster Preparedness Pilot Project for the report ‘Seismic Hazard, Vulnerability and Capacity Assessment’. 

The maps include a range of socio-economic, hydrological, climatic and geological features of Bhutan, compiled as part of the risk assessment.
The risk assessment was a key input into the development of a national earthquake contingency plan for Bhutan.
