The Convention’s overall vision until 2030 is to significantly increase industrial safety and reduce the risk of technological disasters by ensuring its full implementation, its wide recognition as a legal instrument for risk reduction under the Sendai Framework and its contribution to achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. The key objectives until 2030 are improving industrial safety, enhancing transboundary cooperation and supporting implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, the Sendai Framework and other relevant policies.

Remark:
Although the Industrial Accidents material intensively refers to text and principles of the UN SENDAI Framework for DRR, similar reference from the implementation strategies/roadmaps/implementation towards the Industrial Accidents regulations is currently sparse.
This is especially noteworthy because there is considerable RISK Information Management overlap issues, and national reports should contain separate chapter(s) to Industrial Accidents
